The World's Highest Mountain


Mount Everest is the world's highest  mountain, with a peak at 8,850 metres (29,035 ft) above sea level. It is located in the Mahalangur section of the Himalayas on the Nepal side of Nepal-China (Tibet) border.
 The peak of Mount Everest is 8,850 meters (29,035 feet) above sea level. This high elevation gives Mount Everest the distinction of being the mountain with the highest altitude.
